hmm, I've seen this mod before, someone down the street from me was using his in a range test.
he has the barrel more like, 4in of pvc pipe, not 2 ft. 2ft is rediculous, I really wouldn't want to carry that thing

I went out and got a nitefinder
Mods done: PPK'd, e-taped the plunger, now it sounds like a cartoon and gets a rather astounding amount of range. I don't know what else I can do, I don't know if there are any springs at ace that I can use as a replacement, although shortydrummer21 says there are. if there aren't I'm gonna shoot him in the face with whatever spring I end up getting tomorrow.
