The picture of the kid is an actual picture, but the other things appear to be drawn, but...

Mp3 Recorder

11 May 2008 - 09:10 PM

I'm looking for an MP3 Recorder for my computer so that I can record songs from YouTube, and the like.
I have tried many, almost all were only trial versions, or obivious attempts at spyware infection.

A program like this records whatever sound comes through your speakers, then you can save it as an MP3 file. This allows you to (semi-legally) get music from sites like Youtube.

Does anyone know of a free, safe, full-version program I can get off the internet?

Lilith, The Nerf Crossbow

Lilith is a mythological female Mesopotamian storm demon associated with wind and was thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death. In literature she lures men with her sexuality then kills them. She is more commonly known as the "Queen of the Succubi"

Lilith is also the name of my Crossbow

Mods:

Breech
The breech is constructed from 12” of 17/32 brass tubing glued inside of 12” of 9/16 brass tubing. The latter fits perfectly inside of 1/2” PVC and provides a perfect air seal. I machined the loading port and bolt trough with a router.

The bolt is made of … a bolt.

Reinforced Trigger and Plunger Rod:
I used Rawray’s trigger reinforcement method for the trigger.

For the plunger rod I pushed two small threaded rods on each side of the break and filled it with 5-minute epoxy.

Laser Sight:
I used an airsoft laser sight in the original barrel. I drilled a hole through the caseing for the button. I had to solder in a push-on push-off button.

Silenced:
I packed the inside with foam piping insulation to make it as quiet as possible.

I apologise for in advance for bad picture quality.

I, like Forsaken_angel24 will be taking this creation to hell with me.

Password Recovery Problem

30 November 2007 - 05:41 PM

I logged in the first time through the activation e-mail. Now this computer automatically is logged in. So I've forgotten my password. I have tryed to get it e-mailed to me, but it says that there is "No such user". I need my password to log in at school and other places. I am afraid to logout to send my password because there would be no way to contact a founder to fix the problem.

Nerfing's Against The Rules...

20 November 2007 - 04:23 PM

Today I was drawing up schmatics for a breech barrel assembly, and on the bottom of the paper, I had drawn a modified Crossbow. The teacher saw it and flipped out. The conversation went something like this...

Teacher: "What is that"
Me: "A nerf gun"
Teacher: "GUN? (eyes bugged out)"
Me, "Yeah, a nerf gun, it shoots little pieces of foam."

He took my plans and won't give'em back until he "Talk's to an AP about my destructive behavior"
A modded crossbow does look like a rifle, but how many rifles have a purple paint job?
What is the world coming to?
