Slayer

I'm going to be getting a new gun. I want to mod it, maybe even just crayola barrels. But I need some suggestions on what to get. I havent been around many nerf guns, only the ones I own (NF, LS, FireFly, Mav)
I want a decent ROF, but Ok distances too. Maybe a breech loading BBB or a Salvo 6 (I belive it's called that)
So if you could give me some tips/suggestions on good guns that arent too crappy that would be great.

PS: I'm not an idiot asking for an easy mod, i just have no experience, so i'm wondering about guns.

OK, so I decided to mod my Nitefinder, even though to me, it wasn't half bad out of the box. I just wanted to mod it. So i opened it up, and took out the AR. Then I got rid of the little orange barrel that it came with. So I took a five eight's (or whatever it is, i was using a crappy ruler) piece of copper tubing, about 5 and a half inches long and used it as my barrel. First I had to sand down the insides of the blue plastic where the old barrel was, to make it fit. Then I first hot glued it to the piece of plastic separating the barrel from the plunger, and set it in the gun, glued it all up, and closed it. There's no air escaping (at least from around the seal from plunder to barrel), but it fires 10-15 feet. So then i had to put some Electrical tape on the inside end of the barrel, and I just stick one of my stefans (1/2 in diameter) in the barrel, just barely sticking out. This helps some, but it's still not very good. Does anyone know what's wrong? Or have a suggestion to make it better?

Maybe I need a smaller barrel.
