I've been NERFing for awhile. I've had my fair share of old guns. I'm pretty sure I may have had a Lock 'N' Load at one point, but before I became serious about NERFing, it never dawned on me to save those guns. Now I find myself apprehensive before opening things... Should I open this Disk Shot/ Nite Finder EX-3? Now, there are plenty in stock right now, but I have a sneaking suspicion that these will be the Lock 'N' Loads tomorrow. I'm not trying to inspire paranoia, but for the future, I've got 3 NFs NIB, and one Disk Shot NIB, just in case...


Yeah, since I want people to comment, has anyone ever found themselves considering ideas like this? What have you done for the future of NERF?

I'm not a big homemade person, so forgive me if this is a useless topic. I really like the handles on the HyperSight line of NERF guns (who doesn't?) and I've noticed that a lot of people "shotty" their BBBs, by removing the cocking handle. Has anyone considered selling these or using these as handles to a homemade gun? I think it would make the guns more comfortable to hold and depending on how it was attached, better looking, cosmetically.

Hey every body, just got this> in the mail. It is a promotional gun from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy film. It shoots 1/2 inch diameter, 1.57 inch circumference (rounded) suction cup darts. It is plunger-powered and gets ranges comparable to the NiteFinder EX-3 (stock). It is insanely bulbous, the front sphere-thing has a 4-3/4 inch diameter. It is rough the size of a baby's head. It's a fun gun though, any ideas on what to do with it?

I'm gonna be writing a real, bona-fide, published article on NERFing for the school paper, but I need some questions answered first:

Why is the LnL worth more than an SSII, when an SSII is a much older gun? If it is because the LnL is rarer, why is it rarer?

Why do YOU mod NERF guns?

How much money do you spend on new NERF guns versus older NERF guns?


I will post this article when I am done with it. I'd like to thank anyone who criticized my past 2 1/2 articles, because you helped me identify elements in my writing that were unneeded, immature, inflammatory, etc.
