THIS MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST RECON MODS I'VE EVER SEEN. AND I'VE SEEN A LOT. Dude, kudos on the labor and money spent. Clean.

Don't type in caps. Your excitement can be adequately expressed through the use of an exclamation mark.

Also, we're glad you've seen a lot of recon mods...here...on nerfhaven...where our primary focus is the modification and use of nerf guns.....

Sorry about the caps thing, but the Recon is my first Nerf gun, so I put my heart and soul into modding it 'til it broke. I was 11 then. And then I discovered real Nerf guns. Nerfhaven isn't the only place on earth to find good Recon mods.

In Topic: Guide To Barrel Material

My question isn't one of material, but rather length. I shoot BB weighted streamlines, and I've found that CPVC works really well with them. The catch is that I don't have an infinite supply of CPVC to experiment with (~5 feet). So I would like to know the right length for springers (NF, Pistol Splat) and for air powered guns (Big Blast) before I waste a lot of CPVC. Thanks in advance.

About 5 inches work for NF's, not very sure on exact measurement because it all goes down with how well you modded the thing. If you want to get really technical, you could use boltsniper's equation.

I've found that Pilot markers make excellent barrel material, they're slick, easy to cut, lightweight but easy to bend. I can squeeze over 100' out of them, depending on the gun.
