Cool good to know, thank you very much1. McMaster is your friend: http://www.mcmaster....16/3203/=8b3jr2
2. CaptainSlug's writeup on how to make slug darts gives the McMaster part number, which will in turn translate into exact dimensoins.
3. Foam Backer Rod is also known as Caulk Saver. Home Depot has it, Lowes has it. Ace has it, Amazon has it. Ask for it by either name at the home improvement superstore.
4. Don't use epoxy. It's too expensive, it takes a while to dry. You want to try alternative adhesives, try plumber's goop, or shoe goo, or Liquid Nails (which is what CaptainSlug's writeup uses). But hot glue is probably the most common.
Before you try to 'contribute' something new, learn what there is to know first.
5. (You didn't ask, but here's a freebie:) You need to learn to search better. Failing that, probably better to PM individual members than start threads for stuff that most people seem to take for granted.
