I took apart my friends RF-20 to remove the air restrictors and now I cannot seem to put the gun back together. Specifically, I am not sure how to put the white plunger just left of the rotating barrel back in the gun in the proper way. I took some pictures of the gun, around the area I'm having trouble with. Also, some pictures include a white cap with two springs on it--I can't figure out how to put that back in the gun. Thanks for the help!

Hey Nerfers,

I'm fairly new to Nerf mods and I have been having difficulty modding my friend's AS-20. 1) I can't get the entire shell off of the gun. All of the screws I can find have been removed but the black knob just above the clear air tube and spring will not come off. 2? I was able to pry the gun open enough to remove the barrel and take out the air restrictors, but now I cannot figure out how to properly set the gun back up--specifically I can't figure out how to put the white plunger type mechanism and spring back into the gun in the correct position. (Mostly because I can't even get the outside shell off the gun. If anyone has any advice or any pictures of the inside of the AS-20 I would really appreciate it.
