The Rapid-Fire Rifle is my favorite 'Nerf' blaster. Although it's a complete piece of crap for competitive play, you won't have more fun shooting any other blaster. I decided to paint it up as a Duty shotgun to give tribute to my favorite videogame, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. If you have any questions about the paintjob, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to tell you how I did it!

Like the idea for this. A direct plunger would better cater to the community you might prospectively be selling to, but it looks like you're going for size over function. It's hard to tell from the pics, but a bigger slide might be nice. This one looks small. But without the product in my hands/any references (like, compared against a Maverick) it's hard to tell. Last point: if you're making the front compatible with Nerf attachments, why not go for broke and make the back compatible with Nerf stocks?
Cool design. I remember the original post actually, and thinking: Man, this is cool but this guy will never deliver. Glad to see you're returning to the project. Good luck.

My Splitfire: [Nested PVC barrels, hard drive magnet attached to pump and gun with tape to keep pump from swinging around] sitting inside my custom-made hardcover, foam-lined carry case. The foam was bought from Linens and Things, a fabric store. The case itself is a Dewalt drill case that has been hollowed out.

At the bottom of that ad there's a picture of the "X Shot Vigilante Twin Barrel Shotgun," that green double-barreled shotgun thing. Can you tell us anything about that? I haven't heard anything about that blaster in the States, or the internet in general. Some of my questions would be: how does it shoot? How does it load? Is it trash/or not?
