Crossbow Reinforcement

When I reinforced my crossbows plunger rod with metal rods and plumbers goop... theres friction created because of it, it seems like its catching a little bit while i cock it. How much of a difference do you think this makes?

Recommend Me A Gun Based On These Specifications

What would be the best gun to get that would follow these specifications:

Extremely accurate, line drive no arch shot that only needs to reach 40ft. (Obviously if it's that accurate in that close of range it would be a gun that would have a max range much further than 40ft) I want a gun thats really effective in basement wars. I'm sure there are a lot of guns that are very accurate from that close range.

ROF doesn't really matter

Weights For Darts

What kind of weights do you guys use? Provide links if you can.

But I can wondering if because they aren't symmetrical they might not be as accurate? Or is it not enough to matter?

Next time I buy weights should I instead buy the round ones?:

Replacing The Spring In A Crossbow

When I replace the spring, it doesn't cock anymore, it goes all the way back but doesn't "lock". When I put the old spring it works just fine but it's too weak of a spring. So yeah, anyone ever have this problem or have any suggestions? I think the spring may not be the right size, maybe too long. I don't want to cut it and it to still not work though.
