I too have a BB and it gets incredible ranges as well. Not quite 400 feet, but I have never pumped it anywhere near 35 times (only 20 tops) so I wouldn't know. My problem is that the trigger is very cheap and has broken on me 2 times. Mostly because when pumping the gun over 15 times it takes one hell of a pull to shoot the gun, and the trigger can only take it so many times.
I took some measurements a couple weeks ago with my BB. It has a 12" CPVC barrel that is hot glued in place and duct taped as well. It got in the 190' range with 20 pumps, and that is with a perfectly level shot.

I know it gets at least 90 if not more. I will test tomorrow with my 165' measuring tape (as long as weather is permitting).

I'm not sure about using fishing weights in spring guns. They might not offer enough power to make the fishing weight Stefan any better than a Stefan with BB's.

I have used all sorts of Stefans (3 Brass BB's, 3/0 fishing weight, 5/0 fishing weight, 1/4" slingshot ammo) and out of all of those the Slingshot ammo is the best. Maybe because it is easiest to use because the size and how it fits perfectly into a hot without any movement, unlike when using BB's.

THANKS!!!!! I don't know why but I googled each of these guns and nothing came up. Great find. :mellow: I'll be picking up the Sonic Bazooka today and attepting to mod it. I'll post back with my results.

How did you plug the release valve? Can you explain quickly?

Did you plug the release valve on your Big Salvo, or did you leave it stock?
