Find contentI'm a small time NERF modder from The Netherlands, who mods NERF blasters primarily for the fun of it... and using them at the office! So far I've modded two Mavericks and a Longstrike, all with pretty basic mods (AR removal, spring tightening, etc.). Nothing fancy.
My latest asset is a Deploy, which I figured could be modded pretty easily, seeing as how it has basically the same internals as my Longstrike (the whole reverse plunger system). Unfortunately, even with the internals pictures at Mod Works, I can't seem to get the two halves of the gun to detach! I've loosened all screws, but at the back of the gun, where the spring for the stock extension meets the semicircle, it feels as if there's a hidden screw or something. A screw which I can't get to...
I'm sure there's one, as the picture below shows the hole where it should be (left from the second spring in the stock):
Does any of you have an idea on how to get this blasted gun to come apart? I really want to mod this baby, but she's giving me such a hard time.
