I apologize (if necessary), I had no idea about the actual setup for the production of nerfguns and my statement was based on more general knowledge of the china market.

Even though it has happened that a producer with an exclusive agreement had broken off from the company they are supposed to produce products for and simply started selling the products themselves.

The products shown at madeinchina.com are often the "real" deal meaning that this could be the factory producing the "real" nerf guns even though I doubt that. But they look very similar to the real deal on the pics.

Someone could get them to send a sample, that often work as long as you seem professional and serious.

What the dude means is one of those spring loaded ones. They tend to have a very short although insanely powerful spring. I have tried this many times and they work great for clearing room and such. If you look in the homemades thread you will see that I posted a pic of one of those mounted on a discgun. This was years ago so it's probably in the back somewhere.

Since I'm an ass I have to say that the gmg from cod4 is a mark19 not mark 9.
And my favorite weapon would have to be the handgranade from gow, I mean running up to some random locust and smashing them in the face with a grenade with a chain on it how cool isn't that?

You should take a look at my homemade electicnerfblasters (<--is this one two or three words?) you can find the threads either by searching or via the homemades directory.
Using a third feeding motor you get both the advantedges of a gravityfed magazine and the controllability of your current stick pushing doohickey. Althought it requires a litte extra engineering i think it's definitly worth it.
