So, I recently received a SSPB, courtesy of Coop. As soon as I got it I looked in the Modification Directory to see what’s been done with this gun so far so far. What I saw looked like it wasn't very at all sturdy or clean (no offence), so I did it a different way. On to the write-up.
So here's your stock SSPB:
Next remove the four screws and you should find this:
Now cut the barrel at this point where it first gets thinner:
Now we have to drill this out:
It should look like this when you’re done (I used a dremel for this):
Now cut a small bit a 1/2" PVC like so:
Now wrap one lay of e-tape around this part:
Now glue on like so:
Now cut about three inches of your barrel material (PETG, or Brass (I used17/32 with some PETG-like material on the end)):
Now glue that into the PVC:
Now you've got a sturdy and cleanly modded SSPB! Thanks to Coop for selling me the blaster.
