Ahhh, good old Australia and their ridiculous gun laws =-)
Seriously though, that is a very good idea. I've seen a few 'silencers' come out of these forums, but yours is the only one which has an obvious result with not too much effort. good job.
ps: a little off topic, but where do you happen to get your guns in Australia? do you import them, because ive found shipping costs too impractical for that =-S

The problem is the dead space in the plunger tube. to compensate this you would half to attach the tank to the peace of whom's name I cannot think of. the bolt lock would half to stay and the fireing pin would not be connected, but once the tank is locked the pin could be pushed by the trigger.
Anyone need some pictorial definition wile Im at it?
actually, there is a simple way to achieve this result with no wasted space at all. You would attach the 2k/3k tank to the piece that pushes the plunger, as you stated, but you could simply extend the firing pin of the tank until it extends outside the plunger.
this way, when you prime the LS, the tank is pushed back and the firing pin simply slides backwards (through the trigger plate) , and when the bolt is locked forward again, the firing pin is flush against the trigger.
Edit: like so...

I know i have no real standing in the NIC, being a (very) long time lurker, but i have to support forsaken_angel in this instance.
The entire time i've been here, going on 2 years i think, FA has produced some of the best modifications on this forum.
Yes, you could say there are other good modifiers on the forums, but i truly believe that you would be hard pressed to find another who combines Forsaken_angels innovation, precision and just plain clean and awesome skills. Everything he produces is better, nicer, and in many cases cleaner than the original.
No body on nerfhaven can say they've looked at a forsaken angel mod and have'nt wished to be able to do it themselves. He may very well be the best i(and many others) has ever seen!
Just my 5 cents (we don't have 2 cents in Australia any more)

The only problem i see with the original design is that (correct me if i am wrong) having a washer shaped plunger head would create another area for air to escape, around the outside AND the inside of the plunger head.
If you were to create an improved seal, there would be the problem of increased friction on the chamber and the barrel, which would leave the plunger going slower.
I'm not sure if i got that right, but from what I've read (in my short time here) it seems to me that this is slightly uneconomic. A good idea, just needs fine tuning.
