Hello all,
I was just wondering how many people here play paintball as well as Nerf. I know I do, and I figured that they're sorta related as far as being gun games and all, so I assume that there must be some paintballers out there. I actually recently got back into it, as I sorta stopped playing after high-school (it is a somewhat expensive sport you know). Anyway, just let me know if you do and what you play (speedball or woodsball) and perhaps give me a rundown of your marker setup. I am a speedballer myself and I use a Kingman Spyder Imagine-Select, with a Warpigs QB barrel and a Halo TSA LED Frontman loader. I KNOW it's nothing special but it gets the job done(can compete with high-end markers) and it doesn't chop paint. Plus it only cost me like 80$ about 3 years ago which was a steal back then. Anyway, let's hear some responses paintballers...

Bbb Vs. Crossbow

I was just wondering what most people preferred to use: a modded BBB or a modded Crossbow. I only ask because I have the opportuntiy to buy either one of these, both unmodded, and I just wanted some "professional" opinions as to why either one is better(although I suspect the Crossbow will win out). I've seen quite a few "review" pages that give the BBB about a 9 and the Crossbow a perfect 10! Is it really that good? I was also wondering how people can get a modified BBB or Crossbow to shoot over 100 feet. It doesn't seem possible to me for a spring-compression gun to do so. I recently modded my A2k which hit 100+ ranges and it strikes me as highly unlikely for any gun short of extreme air pressure to be able to break, let alone get near, the 100 ft barrier.
Damn Airtech 2k

KHAN!!!!! I recently got an Airtech 2000(brand new from Ebay I might add) and modded it to be a single-barreled long-distance rifle. I was very happy with it as it achieved ranges surpassing 100 ft and would even burst normal micros. But, to my great dismay, after about the 20th or so usage, the trigger went suddenly soft and it would no longer release pressure. When I took it apart I found out that the release valve had become separated from the rubber-stopper that sealed the tank. It tried to epoxy it back on but with no avail and now the tank is ruined rendering the gun useless. I was just wondering whether anyone else had encountered this phenomena. I am pissed but not because of the waste of money, mostly that I really liked that gun and probably won't easily be able to find it again, at least not new anyway. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Can You Mod These Guns?

I am new to this site and I'd just like a little advice here. Is it possible to modify either the Warthog or the Razorfin? I just got one of each of these and when I took them apart I was dismayed as they don't have the normal O-rings like most spring-compression guns. People who have dealt with these guns would know what I mean, but they have a wierd stopper-like cap on them that is supposed to compress the air, but it sucks. Not to mention the Razorfin's barrel assembly is glued into the gun and has delicate tubing adhered to it. I was just hoping somebody could help me out here. Thanks.
