I want to know why my darts keep falling out of the barrel.
After modding my new longshot (simple AR removal and nitefinder spring addition no locks removed). I went outside to test it and the darts just fall out of the barrel when tilted down and when fired they don't go too far either (anywhere from 2-40 feet). I would assume that its either the dart tooth that was incorrectly moved or the darts just don't load far enough into the chamber or something like that but I've tried everything I can think of. I did search for this and I'm sure that there are topics about it somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. If people could just give me some suggestions of what my problem is and how I can fix it that'd be great.
Also on a sidenote I wanted to do heticorp's mod but all the pictures seem to be down is there any way to get those back because its a really great mod and I was really dissapointed when his 60 some pictures where unavialable for viewing.

Scorpion Bow Re-enforcement
16 April 2009 - 03:46 PM
Recently I picked up my scorpion bow and thought that 85 feet just wouldn't cut it. So I decided to add a NF spring. The problem I have now is that the catch will not sustain the power of the scorpion spring and the NF spring. I need to come up with a way to re-enforce the catch. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Recon Seal?
31 March 2009 - 05:21 PM
So my recon boltsled broke over the weekend and I decided I want to single it. Now don't get on me about how I am ruining the rate of fire because the boltsled is literally shattered and it's not worth putting it back together. Anyway I am modding it just like you would a singled longshot but I have come across one problem. The sealing method is diffrent I have tried a duct tape seal but it really isn't working. I am a very simple modder and my seals are very basic (it gets the job done) however basic doesn't work with the recon. If you guys have any suggestions that would really help because I am totally blanking on ideas right now. (If it helps I still have the O-ring.)
Ahhh My Firefly Sucks!
27 December 2008 - 12:01 PM
So for christmas my aunt got my a new firefly, not a great gun but I love the feel, look etc. So it fired 6 shots o.k. So later I decided to mod it since I wanted more than 25 ft. I opened it up and the problems just started from there. There was a screw I couldn't get out because it was cut out on the inside. Where I would put my screwdriver the notches are gone so it forms a very shotty circle. After that the plunger was stripped and couldn't hold a screw in place so in turn the cocking mechanism couldn't cock and the pieces looked quite worn. I am very upset and wonder if you could give me some ideas on how to fix this piece of junk.

I'm new to the nerfing world, or at least the modding part of it. I have a about 10 guns and about half of them are modded. My favorite is my Nitefinder (minimized, spring replacement, ar removal) it gets 60-70 with taggers (don't flame me on the ranges they are angled and I measured with footsteps). That is probably my best gun. But, from what I read it classifys as a secondary at best (correct me if I am wrong). I would love if a more experienced member could tell me what I should be bringing to wars. Also another note I don't make stefans yet (I am working on the Captin Slug method). I have heard 150-200 darts are good but I only have about 100 stock darts (40 taggers 20 streamline 40 suctions) how should I prepare for my first war?
Thanks
