Hornet As-6 Troubles

22 July 2006 - 10:56 AM

Someone with knowledge of the Hornet would suit my needs just fine. :P

I recently got my N-strike set, and was more than pleased with my Titan and expected as much as I could from the scout...but the thing is...

I can't figure out how to get it the hornet to work, I've been working on it for a day and a half now, and I still have little to no idea of how to get this monstrosity to work.

I heard that you are supposed to move the top slide to cock it or something like that, is that just once or per shot? I contacted the manual for it, online via hasbro, and it didn't say anything about it.

So if someone would be kind enough to walk this idiot savant through how to pump up this sucker and get it to work, it would sure be appreciated.

Thank you once again, Mr. Zarwid.

First Homemade Concept

23 June 2006 - 09:25 PM

She is mostly Zero's basic homemade, but with a few slight changes.

I plan to cut a hole about 3/4ths of the way down the barrel on the top only, to allow my micro dart ammo to fall in. I am going to be using a 5 round ammo magazine, which will be permanently in place, it will be gravity fed, hence why the magazine is loaded from the top, much like a Bren. I plan to have the magazine made out of a sturdy kind of wood, probably oak, the top rectangular piece of the magazine will have either a door, or a sliding panel, allowing me to drop more ammunition in as necessary.

It will be using a ball valve, for simplicities sake, and the only thing that I might have problems with is I plan to integrate an entire bicycle pump into the rifle. Which with extra tubing made out of PETG will reach up to where I plan to have the air tank, the PETG will be cinched and duck taped, if I am not able to have what I believe to be a good enough sizing with the end of the bike pump.

The PVC you see going down and reaching the bike pump after the Ball Valve is simply a foregrip.

Well, here she is, I hope that my write up wasn't too rough, or my paint drawing. (Don't crush my n00bling hopes too soon <_< )
