It seems a bit useless...

Well this is odd...I wrapped the plunger tube in e-tape and it now works perfectly...why I do not know but I'm happy.

I'm just shooting to get lucky at this point, with a great seal (and everything else seems good) I don't know what else it could be...

This seems to be broken, is it? Maybe when you push your thumb against this (when you test the seal), you are pushing it back together (assuming the epoxy is cracked) so the seal is nice. But when you have a barrel, the air escapes from here from the lack of pressure. Try pushing back on the barrel when it's loaded and see if it fires.

With or without holding the barrel, stock darts have finally come out of the barrel, not stefans, just stock micros, all about a foot each...

So no difference.

Does the barrel work on other guns?

Of course...

Does other barrels work on the gun?

Considering how it has a CPVC Coupler I haven't had the opportunity to try.

I'm only using the stock spring. My local hardware doesn't have any silcone grease...so I'm stuck with this.

Theres your problem. You need a new spring or to add more springs to the stock one. If you have a TTG spring add that or if you have a DTB and SF spring add those. Another good option is an ace 49 spring.

The dart won't escape the barrel... The stock spring has enough power to get a dart out of a 3" barrel. Cutting the coupler in half won't solve that problem either. Yes, both of your answers will help the performance, but it's not why the dart is getting stuck.

If I had to guess without a picture, I'd say it's the plunger head seal. When you say it's "air tight", how do you test this?

I prime the gun, I cover the coupler with my thumb and it stops halfway once I fire it. Then if I take my finger off, it shoots the other halfway
