So it's that time again in North Eastern Ohio. This time we're gonna change the park a bit. Found a playground that's right next to an abandoned mini golf course, that's become over run with plants and such. Looked for interesting play.

Rules: Same as before, 3/15, don't be a douche, bring you're own weapons/ammo, etc. etc.

Dates: Here's where we've had problems in the past. No one can make a date happen. If people wanna start posting dates in April that they'd be willing to come up and have a good time in Cleveland , OH then we can get a solid war going.


War is canceled.

It's that time again. Dust off those blasters, you've got Nerfing to do.

Date: March 21, the 1st day of spring. (Negotiable.)
Time: 10 a.m. - Whenever we tire of nerfing.
Location: Lakewood OH, Lakewood park. Google Maps & Mapquest should provide good directions. PM for my cell phone # in case you get lost.

Rules: Standard MAG 7 rules do not apply.
We will go by 3/15, and the local policy as enforced by the anti-douche squad, don't be a douche.

Banned blasters:
Plugged: BBBB, LBB, Titan.
No homemade air guns. Homemade springers, i.e. Plusbows, SNAPbows etc. are allowed.
To make this clear non-plugged, BBBB & LBB are allowed. Titans are only to be used with the missile.

Down to business, In this corner, sitting at 2 1/2 ft long, nearly 4 1/2 pounds, my SNAPbow...


I think this is the first handle of its kind on a SNAPbow, correct me if I'm wrong.


Its a 1 1/4 inch PVC T cut down and a 1 1/4 cut down end cap attached via screws.


It has a carbon style plunger head, I couldn't find a +bow spring so I have 3 rather dense hardware store springs.

Ranges are somewhere between 125-130' flat.

This marks my 100th post and my 1st contribution to this site, yippee. Here we go.
What you're making:


Materials needed:

6 in of 1/2 inch cpvc
1/2 inch cpvc endcap
Dremel or hacksaw
Plumbers goop or hot glue
About 5 minutes

Start by opening up the AT2k air chamber.


Take this black thing and poke a small hole in the exact center.


Replace the black thing and re screw the chamber together.

Cut off the very tip of the goo gauge, and dump the goo.


Now the fun part. Take your 6 in piece of cpvc and twist it on over the goo gauge.


Stick your 1/2 inch cpvc end cap on the top of the 6in piece.


Now take your plumbers goop and seal the cpvc to the air tank.


Make sure your leak free, if you find a leak make sure your goop is on tight.

You're done.
No ranges yet, first shot I got off in my house, went straight through my window. When I can get outside, in daylight, I'll measure how far this monster shoots.

Ouch.

Ranges: before, singled with brass, it got between 75-80 ft. flat.

shot 1: 102'
shot 2: 101'

Average 101.5'. +20', Not bad for 5 min.

Comments, Questions, Flames?

Ok so these are my modded Longshots so they go under Modifications. I would put them in the Paint jobs thread but those are pictures only and I need YOUR opinions. I'm going to sell one and keep the other as my primary. They both have the same basic mods, AR's gone, New spring additions, Tripled O- rings, and soon to be barrel replacements. Without the new barrels they each get about 75'.

Questions, Comments, Criticism? All are welcome. I just want to know what to do with these guns. And sorry If I posted this in the wrong section, again I need feedback on the guns that's why they're not in the Paint jobs thread.

Also I'm putting one on eBay. Anyone know how much they are approximately worth? I've seen Ice's go for about $120 but, Hes got Youtube for advertising... Anything?
