Recommend that the topic be closed and pinned at the tip-top of General Nerf or something in the interest of protecting my IQ. I felt it drop, and we therefore need to guard against the stupid.

My bad. My point remains, though. Airliners made out of aluminum alloys have exploded from pressure-related metal fatigue, but your guns will experience no pressure difference.
