Google Search: Gravity Fed Nerf Clip

14 April 2004 - 05:39 PM

After trying to think of how to add a pump action system with a gravity fed clip to a paintball gun, I decided to google it and see what others have came up with. Google search: gravity fed nerf clip

Got a result I wasn't expecting...

Anyways, just thought that was kinda humorous. Anyone have any ideas on how to construct this? I'm trying to do it without using shells, but I'm not sure how the pump will be able to grab a dart and pull it forward and slide back and let another dart drop down without binding up on the dart. Problem lies in something sliding in between two darts sitting on top of eachother.

Anyone Heard About Parkour?

05 April 2004 - 01:00 AM

I'm starting to get into this sport, it's been around for awhile in France and the UK, but is just now starting to get bigger in the US. It's still hard to find anyone to do it with outside of New York, but that's changing. Anyways, the NY Times described it better than I ever could in their article, so here:

All you need to do Parkour (PARK-OOER, it's french) is a decent pair of shoes and some physical fitness. There's a Wikipedia entry too for those who really like to read:

EDIT: VIDEONESS (at least until my bandwith goes out B))

Note to younger/crazier type peoples: If you watch the videos, it looks like the things they're doing are effortless. I would think twice about any of this before you try and jump off a 3 story building or anything like that. Perfect the shoulder roll first before you do any larger drops, and make sure you are very proficient at a move before taking it to a rooftop or anywhere more dangerous than on grass.

Help With My Chainblazer

29 March 2003 - 04:01 PM

Alright, here's the situation. I have my chainblazer apart, and now I can't figure out exactly how to put it all back so it fires again. I know how to put it all together, and it works, it just will never release the plunger to fire, even when I pull the handle back as far as I can. It almost seems like it's too tight or something. The barrels rotate fine though.

I can't figure it out, I'm almost sure I have everything in the right place, there's a pic of the internals here, and I'll try and post the pic:

EDIT: nevermind, I just figured out I was trying to put a spring in it that I got from a hardware store instead of the real spring. There was no way it would compress enough to fire. But feel free to reply if anyone actually uses a Chainblazer. I'm doing some tweaks...
