After not using airguns for a couple months, most of them have developed leaks. First my Air tech 2000 leaks out of the base of the pin at the end of the tank. My Big Salvo leaks slowly out of the barrels of 3 of the four blast chambers. My Titan cannot hold enough air to shoot a dart 30 feet, but I cannot locate the leak(s). Lastly my converted water gun leaks out of all the parts except the barrel and pump. There may be a few I am forgetting. Can someone help? Thanks (in advance).
In 2009, the Discovery Channel will be starting a new show called Wreckreation Nation. It is about hobbies Americans take to the extreme or things such as town traditions and competitions. It sounds like it is about slightly weird or destructive hobbies that some people created or improved. This might be the perfect chance to get more people interested in nerf.I think we should recommend nerfing to the show (Because we all know how desperately Dsc. needs ideas) We should describe the hobby, tell them the location of a few major wars, and give them an example of why nefing should be on the show. What do you guys think? If you want to email them, or find out about the show here are the links: Submit your Idea and Discovery Page.
Before I say anything, this is in off topic because it doesn't deserve to be in any other forums. So while checking amazon for blasters, I saw the airtech 2000. Then I looked at the original price, and began laughing The original price is really funny, and probably made up. So look at it here.
I purchased a double shot yesterday, opened it up to look at the internals then resembled it. When I went to cock the gun, a knot on the ropes got in the way , and I couldn't move the barrels far enough to cock the gun. Has any anyone else had this problem, and can some one provide a picture of the internals at the front of the gun? I search but the 2 topics I found had pictures that were either too blurry, or did not show the right place in the internals.
I went into lowes yesterday to pick up some glue, and I was walking down the isle where the foam is, and Noticed that the frost king foam was darker. Intrigued, I bought some and went home. When I ran it through some cpvc, It fit the cpvc MUCH better than the other frost king foam, and was much denser. I have not made any Stefans yet but I will soon and report the results. Did anyone else notice the foam getting thicker and denser, or is it just me?
