Range Shot

12 December 2008 - 08:27 PM

I recently picked this gun up it has the ability to angle the barrel while keeping the rest of the gun horizontal (it has a protractor like thing on the front to precisely measure the angle).
Materials:
cpvc
coupler
e-tape
M10 washer
super glue

Here it is unprimed.

And here it is angled and primed.

It even has realistic sights!
The internals are very simple here is the catch and trigger.
Next I replaced the plastic washer to hold the spring in the plunger tube with a metal metric (M10) I found at Ace, to add reinforcement. I also stretched the stock spring.

Next I cut a 2.5" piece of cpvc and put a coupler on it and wrapped the coupler in e-tape.

Then to make a better seal around the hollow post I put an old stock dart in the cpvc (without the top).

Then I super glued the coupler at the front of the stock barrel.
Here it is finished.

I don't have official ranges yet because it is dark out I will post them tomorrow.
Sorry about the pic size.

Mms 1100

05 October 2008 - 05:15 PM

I picked up this nice marshmallow shooter at the thrift store for 80 cents. It came with some foam pellets that didn't go very far. The plunger pull is massive it puts out a lot of air pressure. Here's the mod.

Tools:
Dremel
hot glue or some epoxy

Materials:
cpvc coupler
a piece of fbr or some foam

First cut off the front end where it narrows Dont cut it flush with the blue plastic piece that holds the front on. Then take the ammo tube off the back and shove your piece of fbr or your foam in the back of the place where the air comes out don't shove it in too far because it will cut off air flow. Next fill the back with hot glue. Then put your coupler on the front add a bungee and your done.
Here's pictures.
This shows the coupler on the front and the bungee placement.

The ranges it gets are 80' flat and about 100' angled.
Sorry about the picture size.

Outlet Powered Vulcan

24 July 2008 - 05:12 PM

My dad is an electritian and he says if you get a 9v. transformer you can wire up the Vulcan so all you have to do is plug it in and shoot. I am also thinking of the possibility of having this be removable so you can take the transformer out and convert it back to battery power.
