Ten Shot Dtg And Petg Barrels

How well does OMC petg fit into the black baseplate of the drum on the dtg? Can I force it in to the black rings and glue it or will I have to find another way to attach it? I have checked the modification threads and found no write ups for a petg dtg to answer my question.

Internal Banding On A Dtg

What are the havens thoughts on spring replacements or internal banding on the ten shot DTG? I've lurked the mod threads for a bit and there doesn't seem to be too much consensus on whether the risk of plunger-rod breakage is worth it or not. On a specific note I will have a decent amount of ar15 springs available. Will they be too strong? ( i had purchased them for my Nite finder, got the 5 pack that cpt slug uses for plus bows, so a few extras to cut down)

Ar 15 Springs

I know that they are the golden spring for getting extra range. However, I am wondering what the spring constant was on them so I could order something of similar power through small parts or mcmaster. At the moment I am only finding springs that will require almost 40 pounds of force to draw back and obviously this is a one shot deal and no good. I don't want to order blindly.

My college may be doing a humans vs zombies game and I was wondering what the Havens thoughts were on what gun to use. It does not and can not shoot 100 feet (For safety, I'm thinking that about 50-60 feet ought to be OK) so I was thinking that the two most important factors would be RoF and ammo flexibility. Any tips from HvZ veterans?

My choice at the moment would be a high capacity drum style gun, like the large dart tag blasters or a rebarreled sm1.5k.

Taggers In 1/2in Pvc

I have modified my sm1500 with pvc/crayola barrels and have found a problem. I can fire stock suction cup darts with amazing reliability and consistancy but when i use taggers i get misfires, tail spins and generally poor ranges but only every other shot or so. the other shots are perfect. this leads me to believe that there is a way to make them work but im missing somthing.

any thoughts on whats wrong with the gun or the darts or if it simply doesn't work are appreciated.
