Could you somehow put a coupler on the PETG inside the barrel of the gun to stabilize it a bit? Because if I did this mod it looks like it would come of pretty easy. Or is it secure enough with being connected with the front of the gun?

Like Frost said, it keeps the brass from getting damaged, It also stabilizes the barrel some what.
Couldn't you go even farther and put a piece of pvc, probably sch i think, around the stock barrel and the added pvc? Then it'll be one barrel and a lot more stabler. Sorry bout posting in such an old topic...
