Idealy you should mesure the plunger tube, calculate the volume then give yourself a barrel with the same volume. Alternatively give yourself a barrel with the same volume + half a dart length with holes drilled at the base of the extra section, this will give you a slightly lower dart velocity but also increase accuracy by elimenating blowout. (Exactly what a SCAR barrel does only without the fancy useless bits)

Other people have mentioned that the older blue ones tend to jam elites, for some reason this is not the case with the old yellow ones.

I believe that the ID of the artifact barrel is either 0.504" (12.8mm) or closer to 0.509" (12.92mm). When i checked with my calipers it was closer to 12.8mm but they arent exactly the most accurate. The OD of the barrel is around 16mm if you were wondering.

Much appreciated :)

Thanks for the help everyone! Could someone possibly link me a UK seller for Chinadarts? (UK residents can't use many .com shopping sites without a VPN)

Not sure how slugs are deemed inconsistent due to their lengths. Try artifact darts but I think they are lighter than traditional homemade ammo.

What are you firing this out of? If its shooting anything over 200 fps, there's nothing stock about it. You'd be pressed for luck to find any type of dart shot at that speed to be "safe" for anyone.

Longshot with an artifact kit (with near perfect seals) and a 16kg spring. Slugs being inconsistent as in homemade darts would likely not all be the exact same length, which is an issue for a revolver build I have planned for later.
