New Hornet Mod

03 January 2009 - 11:48 AM

Well, after seeing CaptainSlug's MASS project it inspired me to create this.

materials:
Hortnet
Dremel sanding wheel
Vacuum
6 pvc endcaps
9" of pvc
Jb weld two part epoxy

Ok here we go

1 Open up your hornet and take a good look at the intimidating internals.

Posted Image

2 take a sanding wheel and move it in a up and down motion on every blast chamber until theres a 3/4" hole in them.

Posted Image
Posted Image

3 now cut 6 1.5 inch segments of pvc.

Posted Image

4 smother one end of it in pvc cement and slap a cap on eveyone of them.

Posted Image

5 once your done with that take your sanding wheel and round the end of your pvc segments to match the curve of the blast chambers.

Posted Image

6 Now take your epoxy and litely dip the rounded end of pvc into the epoxy and stick it on a last chamber

Posted Image

7 Do step 6 to all the cambers and cut the shell so theres room for the extensions and your done.
you get props if you dont get frustrated during this mod

Hornet Troubles

21 August 2008 - 04:36 PM

Ok' so I'm taking the ars out and after two tookin out I put the gun back together to see if it worked and the very last chamber has an internal leak. So If I just cut off the last camber and plug the vinyl tubing and get rid of one of the notches on the orange thing In the slider would that fix It?
