So I'm new to modding, and I've really been inspired by the great things some people make. I also tend to be, like many, a sucker for crossbows. I've seen the Stryfire mod and I think its really cool, but I'd like to try it with a Retaliator instead of a Stryfe so it'll be more crossbow-y. My plan is to put an OMW spring in the Retal to make sure it can fire darts through a PVC barrel and out the end of the Crossfire. But I'm unsure if this whole project would work. Do any of you know if I could do this?
So over the summer I want to fully mod-out an old green Rayven I have. I just need some help with the parts. I know what motor I'm using, but as far as batteries, switches, and wire goes I'm lost. Where can I get good:
LiPo batteries
18AWG Wire
Switches
EDIT: Bonus points if you can buy all of the things at the same place.
So I'm gonna start modding and I want to pick up some supplies for integration. However, I don't know the difference between epoxy and epoxy putty. I know epoxy is for whenever plastic and plastic go together and you put epoxy putty around the outside. But I don't see the difference. Also, the epoxies I'm seeing are sold in a syringe. How do I use that to weld pieces together?
Question One:Exactly what brand/type of paint do I want for painting a blaster?
Question Two:What is a place I can buy aftermarket springs for a nerf blaster? Specifically a place with a huge variety of spring for a huge variety of blasters.
