Hey guys.
A little too late to be talking about Stampedes, but I am trying to install a 9kg spring and I need help from experienced people. If my Stampede runs on a 9kg spring, do I need to reinforce the gears without replacing them? If I need to reinforce, which part? Can I use epoxy/superglue/epoxy putty to reinforce it?

I have less experience in electricity and circuitry, so I have some inquiries.

I'm planning to do a motor replacement for my (fully rewired) Stryfe.

I have been using stock motors and they perform fine. I just want to step up my game.

So the motors I chose were Tamiya Power Dash 130 Motors.

Now, I did do a replacement with Sprint Dash motors but I used 4 Ultrafires and just totally wrecked those batteries.

So, my question is,
If I pump 12v or 16v into Power Dash motors, will it be alright? Will the same happen to these batteries?

I currently run Ultrafires on my fully rewired Stryfe(1st Gen).

But I have a few questions to ask.
PLEASE ANSWER ACCORDING TO NUMBERS. DON'T SIDETRACK SAYING:"Why don't you wanna cut shells?, or why are you using LiPos?

1. If I run a 2s 25c LiPo, will it be weaker than Ultrafires or not? (High Discharge but low voltage)

2. If I run a 3s 20c LiPo, is it necessary to change my rev switch into a high current micro switch?

3. If I run a 500mAh pack and I'm playing for 5 hours, do I need to bring 2 packs? (don't want to cut shell)

4. Can aanybody give me a link for tutorials on how to charge LiPos using a smart charger? (maybe an IMAX B6 Balance Charger?)

5. My LiPo has a JST discharge plug and a JST-XH balance plug, if I want to plug both into my Stryfe or my balance charger, what terminals should I use for the Stryfe and the charger? (Male/Female)

6.Do stock motors spin fast on a 2s LiPo? (Related to Question 1)

7. How do I solder a Female JST plug to my wire to plug LiPos in? (if you have a link, it's fine)

I have a modded Stryfe. It has a killlswiitch that works, locks removed, blaster rewired.

Now, I run them on Ultrafires. 4 of them to be precise because 3 of them are weak.

Also, Li-Pos are rare in my country, so I'll have to stick with Li-Ions instead.

But I have a question, why do I sometimes see people running their Stryfes on 8.4v Li-Po batteries and have (slightly) better velocity than my 16v Ultrafires?

The voltage is obviously like half my voltage. Also, if I use stock motors, what type of Li-Po should I use (in terms of voltage)?

Hi guys.
At this point I'm a little worried because something is happening to my Stryfe.

After I replaced them with the Tamiya Sprint Dash motors, I rewired them like the stock motors.

I'm running them on 3 Ultrafires +1 Dummy.

At first, the performance was solid. I really liked it.

Then the next day, I tested them out again. They were rather weak and suddenly the Ultrafires became really hot. Is it a short circuit?
Soon, I thought the Ultrafires were almost dead, so I decided to charge the batteries. 2 of them worked perfectly but one just couldn't charge(my charger has an L.E.D indicator). What's wrong with my stryfe?

Am I gonna blow up my Ultrafires? (All my Ultrafires are 14500 protected cells)
