Issue is, brother has my camera at his house. Will attempt to get pics if possible.

The main issue (I believe) is that when I fire, the priming rod doesn't go all the way back, meaning the small wings on the priming rod don't collide with the triangles on the priming handle, causing it to miss, and not be able to pull back.

Very basic old-school mod, but still a pretty effective one.

The base coat is a black Rust-Oleum enamel. the purple on the blaster is a Citadel Liche Purple, and the dry brushing is a Citadel Adeptus Battlegrey.

Pretty simple mods, spring upgrade, and AR removal. Hitting about fifty feet flat.

Thank you SO much for your help. Black dye will actually probably work better than white, now that I think about it. Also, those Stryfes are amazing, really liking that "Medic" one.

Here's what I did for the outside.

  • Pull all of the internals out.
  • Desolder the leads that connect to the battery compartment.
  • Put masking tape on the pieces that touch the positive battery terminals and around the springs that touch the negative battery terminals.
Why do you want to paint the insides?

Overall better look, but, the main thing I was concerned about was water getting into the internals while I was dipping it in. (See video link.)

Of course, i'm not talking about painting the internals, just the inside of the Stryfe's shell.
