OMW Recon kits... in a Deploy?

Anyone tried? I hear whispers of the string being the same, but what about the rest of it? anyone tried? Or have both laying around to compare? I think a deploy would be a nice quiet secondary. Especially with a REAL flashlight subbed in.

Custom flywheel cage?

Anyone thought about cutting and extending the flywheel cage and putting on larger flywheels? Bigger wheels would increase outside travel, contact surface and with rubber they'd be grippy. Just throwing around ideas.

Canadian or northern state wars/HvZ/any action at all.

Sitting on the border of North Dakota, wondering if there are any Canadian nerfers here who go to wars or if any northern states have anything going on that's open to travelers.

Flywheel Coating

Been reading online and read about two options.

Plasti Dip: Sounds like this works for about 100 darts and wears off.

Duct tape: Sounds like an absolute mess...

Has anyone tried truck box liner? you can get it in rattle cans. The one from Dupli Color is even rubber based.
