^^^ This.  The rifled barrels are a cause of more inaccuracy, as the dart can hit the angled rifling and sends the dart off to the side.  The old n-strike straight barrels are best.  All my main blasters have the older barrels swapped in.  =)

Wow, that is pretty impressive! Well done!

Are they the same dimensions I guess? How do they fit on, are they are press fit on to the shaft? Have you considered to do a concave design on the dart face?

Keep us updated. Looking great!

As Duke and Pop Tart said. Falcon motors on a 3S LiPo (Lithium Polymer). 105-110 fps on average tested myself.
Heres some proof: Falcons on 3S

Hello. For a first, a stryfe is easier to mod. Though a Demo is essentially the same circuit wise, though you just have the inner and outer shells to contend with along with wiring to be passed on both halves of the shell.

Xtreme Pro 180 are only rated for 2S. With a 2s you will get 110-120fps, taking that your wiring and components are up to scratch.

Shamless plug again: Xtreme 2s Stryfe

Charger. I use the Imax B6. Imax B6

180 motor are longer in lenght, so yes you will have to cut the shell. This is where a Dremel comes in very handy.

Wiring is straight forward on the Demo/stryfe. I'd suggest taking everything out and starting from scratch with new wire and switch. Battery +ve, to rev switch, to motors, to Battery -ve. You will need to get the polarities correct on the motors to ensure they spin the correct direction. You'll also need to buy a battery pack to fit the exiting tray, which is difficult given the Demos small tray. Or you could position the battery somewhere else. Some have put it under the jam door for instance.

Seriously though, I would consider doing a Stryfe first. Its much easier as you have everything in the 1 half of shell.

Hope that helps.

The 3534's are rubbish. Don't use them. There is data on them here: My link

Falcons are great! 130 motor. Cheap, good performance, and seeming to be very robust. Run on a 3S. 100-110 fps. My link

Other than that Blades 3240's on 2S which as said are in short supply at the moment.

Or you can go Xtreme Pro 180's. Costly, but excellent performance on a 2S. My link
