Well yeah! Of course...isn't modding just fixing it...BETTER? :-) On my first mod I've used brass to line the barrels of a Tek-3, and removed the post. That giant hole in the side of each barrel just seemed like a waste of air. Unfortunately, now the storebought darts won't fit loosely enough, I think it's because I used a tubing cutter instead of a razor saw. Next time I'll know. I wonder if I can find a CHEAP tool to flare the ends of those brass tubes, although I don't think I'll be able to get them out of the Tek-3 I already modded. On the flip side, the 1/2" caulk saver seems just right, so I'll have to make some darts from that. Annnnnnnd I need a low-temp glue gun for that! Looks like I'll be hunting for coupons for Michael's and Joanne's. LOL
Edited to add, the brass was 17/32" brass tubing I bought at Ace. The darts seemed fine in it before I cut it, so no more wheel-type tubing cutter on this!
