Pumpsnap Shotgun Tip

25 September 2013 - 10:02 PM

So I had the crazy idea to make a shotgun tip for a pumpsnap, based around a 2" to 1/2" pvc coupler attached to the front end of a pumpsnap, with as many barrels as possible jammed into the 2" coupler end. This is how it turned out.

Materials:
6 inches of 1/2" pvc
17.5 inches of 1/2" cpvc
1 2" to 1" coupler (in place of the 2" to 1/2" coupler)
1 1" to 1/2" coupler (the other part of the coupler)
Epoxy putty
Hot glue
Electrical Tape

Tools:
Dremel drill
knife

The tip shoots 7 elite nerf darts about 60ft at no angle or 78ft at a 15 degree angle
I have not tried any other types of darts
One cool thing about this build is the tip is broken into two pieces, the 7 barrel tip, and a barrel adapter. If you wanted to, you could make more tips with one adapter and actually have reloadable cartridges for quick reloads.

Here is the finished tip on my pumpsnap
