Ok, I hooked up the battery pack to the motor ( removed the junk on it )
And it works, so no motor problems,
Any ideas where a bad wire would be?

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.

That is an interesting idea, but that would take a lot of effort to shoot it.
