Inventor has some good built-in tutorials, go through those first. For things like slots with PVC, you'll have to create a reference plane, and then use an extrusion removal.

Thanks! Didn't think to check there before hand. On another note, does nerfhaven have a CAD Archive of blasters?

I've used this stuff before for a handle and a foregrip on a snapbow. It's somewhat similar to wood but flexes slightly more. It's nice might not be the best option cost wise. The dust is also obnoxious. (http://www.lowes.com..._/N-1z10t2d/pl#!)

I know you did mention that there may be some alternative to some materials but aside from nylon rod, what do you think would work as the plunger rod?
