Good day all, well for starters I'm 23, in college for Architectural drafting/design, and after ill go back for 3D graphics design...with that said I'm also a professional magician. As far as Nerf goes I have a decent arsenal I'm rather happy with, most of which having been modded in some way, mostly ar removal and repainting. I guess this is the fun part where I tell you about them a bit.
I'll go on and list them in the order I purchased them:
-- Maveric -- mostly dark green repaint, barrel extension, ar removal, spring stretch.
-- Buzz Bee's "Ultimate rapid Blast" -- No mods
-- Nerf Vulcan -- Complete repaint.
-- Buzz Bee's "Ultimate missile Blast" -- slimmed the frame down, need to reseal it to fire correctly though.
-- Nerf Recon -- repaint of stock and barrel attachment, no mods to main gun yet.
-- Nerf Titan -- unity attachment clips, spare trigger and ball bearings removed. plan to do vent removal
-- Nerf Scout -- repaint, attached nitefinders light withought light (cosplay prop) and white/grey repaint. Also ar removal
-- Nerf Hornet -- didnt work no matter what i did...scrapped for parts.
-- Longstrike -- repaint only -- black + khaki for star wars cosplay (went with nitefinder for tusken raider costume)
-- Longshot -- repaint only -- black + green. no repaint on front gun yet.
-- Nitefinfer -- Ar removal + white/khaki repaint for star wars costume
-- buzz bee Double shot -- now sawed-off. repainted with black and silver, and ar removals to gun and shells.
-- Nerf Raider -- black + dark khaki repaint. stock too.
-- Nerf Barricade -- grip left alone as far as repaint went. liked the color. the rest was a worn metal + dark red. trigger, on/off switch, barrel, jam door and very end of barrel (wider segment with holes in it on end of barrel) are left orange.
-- Star Wars Captain Rex Electronic Blaster -- just bought, working on planning for cutting the stock off, salvaging electronics in one group to be reused maybe. I'll be using this gun as an under barrel attachment using the recon scope mount.
-- Buzz Bee Hawk -- stock removal (yes i know, the not-so-hidden compartment gets removed.) and assessment of internals for possible modding and finished with a good painting...also need to see about making it not use shells...i like it but i dont but i do...figure that one out
for my current work I've been using OMW's forums. this is a link to the under barrel work, the second link is my already painted projects:
