That is the exact flexpvc 6-way fitting used in the blaster that inspired this design. They aren't even very expensive at less than $5 each. The center cone built in may really help air distribution. I think there's likely some mods and coupler optimizations that would make that fitting really fling foam. I would be very interested in the performance of the one you build.
I'm not very experienced with the catches that are out there, but I have some inclination to try this due to it's apparent adaptability and simplicity. It looks like a durable and positive catch. There are several details you show that I'd like to rip off, once again. Thanks for taking the time.
I finally busted my sspb's tek 3 turret. Dang. But it was easy to fix.I cut what was left of the stock turret near the screw off with a razor knife. The hole was marked and a small hole drilled (didn't document the size). I dug around for an appropriate screw but had to file a bit from the head to get it into the pivot. I added some craft foam (Thanks princexbuster at NH) as a seal. There was a little tuning of the holes for the air inlet and at the back of the turret. I drilled out the holes a little larger without having to redo the stock ball detent. It still indexes nice and the extra performance is noticable.
drceebs with some tuning of the dimensions I imagine this could function like an inline, depending on what it's fitted to. The manifold was an attempt to get the pressure even for just that purpose. It didn't work out for me but I don't have too much experience with these things.
