Longshot Paint?

25 March 2008 - 06:38 AM

Hi, im rather new and I wanted to give my new modded longshot a paint job. I took out some internals so it would still work, and then gave the gun a first coat of white paint. My longshot is dry but it is realy sticky. The paint doesn't come off or anything, it's just sticky. So I was wondering if there was a way to make it less sticky. Im using Krylon praypaint.
Thanks

My First Mod

13 February 2008 - 07:21 AM

Ok so ive decided to just do this over. and hopefully u can see the pics
My first mod was on my nerf dart tag pistol. I took out the AR and tried a second spring but the 2 springs didn't work.
I started by taking out all the screws and opening it up. I took out the spring and the the piece with the AR. I spent a while hammering out the AR with a screwdriver. It looks like this. Posted Image
The i wondered if i could add a second spring for more of a punch and took out the spring from the sidearm from the LS. Posted Image
When i had added the spring and closed it up i couldn't cock it back so opened it up again and the springs nailed me in the face. I just kept the stronger of the two and closed it up it now just needs a sanding and a sweat paint job. It looks like this:
