a good alternative to your "random tiny interchangabletip screwdriver would be a small punch for leather or whatnot.
I know not everybody is going to have one, but I suspect they may be more common.

"I have no idea what this black piece is, however I chose to leave it inside the blaster. Anyways, I found the best way of removing the air restrictor was to take a pair of plyers and twist until it popper out."

Can't tell for certain from the angle of the picture, but it looks similiar to the clear peice on a BuzzBee Tek-3.
On that, the only real function is to cushion the firing sound, from what this looks like I'd say it's probably the same thing.

To tell you the truth, when I first saw this I thought, this is dumb.
I kept reading though, and I must say... "you totally rock dude!!"

I'm now doing one inspired by this with my vortex manual, pictures later.
My real question though, is how exactly the wallet is constructed. That pocket on the very right seems to be constructed entirely of duct tape. Is it? Also, your design seems to have several pockets on the inside. Are they just taped on?
Thanks

I, for one, think firing washers is a terrible idea.

Firing straight washers, yeah... bad idea. Crotalus didn't even mention washers though.
Ferrite element does not seem to equal washer. It could be just two counter-wieghted magnets. This is also assuming that there wouldn't be anything on the outside to cushion it, like the foam that allows there to be a spin.
Just like firing metal bottle caps= bad (not to mention that it doesn't work); but with a foamish cushion, it's quite viable.
