This sounds like an amazing idea. I can think of sooo many ways to amp it up, too.

This is an oversimplification. While extra mass certainly helps in windy conditions, it does not necessarily correlate to accuracy. I have witnessed many 0.8g slug darts which shoot like a laser beams, and shitty 1.7g dome dart which veer off to one side.
Ok, I forgot the inconsistency of Slugs, but I more-or-less meant in a perfect world. I'll be sure to edit that. Also, you have to think about Newton's second law. An object with more force's motion will be harder to change with more mass; helping in windy situations. Therefore, heaver ammunition will have more consistent shots in terms of accuracy. For example, military losers will use heaver ammunition at longer ranges to provide with more consistency and accuracy.

Well, there are a few other problems -
- they don't work in hoppers
The thing is, they don't need to work in hoppers. Yes, it may cause some trouble, but with these, you can easily make box mags, or even tube mags. With the box mags, they will not bend like streamlines do in a Clip-system mag, therefore increasing functionality and capacity. Another feature that is also easily over-looked as a bad thing is the weight. Yes, it may not get as much velocity, but what it lacks in velocity, it makes up for in accuracy. In a perfect world, heavier weighted rounds always have more accuracy than lighter weighted rounds.

I edited the forum, with ranges, 40" in advance.. Internal mods? Well AR and seal, but further no.. This thing is more of an ''role play'' blaster than an ''nerf war'' blaster I think.
Zumatrix
Ah, I see. But if I were you, I'd take that thing and make a internal powerstock, and throw some springs in it, but that's just me. I like insane ranges and power.
