3s on a Nemesis can cause a whole host of issues.  I never encountered burning motors, but my flywheel hubs were eventually pounded out by the increased torque and yours will get there too.  My solution to this was to convert the flywheel drive to brushless, and this could also solve your fried motor issue.

That is correct, I was also hitting 130 with stock motors and a 3s rewire. However, this modification was done to solve the issue of flywheel slippage.

170? Negative, I just managed to hit 110 with it finally. It still fires HIRs.

As of 11-11-18 it is now hitting my goal velocity of 130 FPS average.
