Interesting idea. I totally would never, ever do that. Sticky barrels just aren't my thing--and washing out a barrel doesn't sound like a picnic either.
I wouldn't take away the free expresion we get here at NH--some people just beg for flames with stupid posts. But the thing is, about half the topics devolve into arguements about other people's forum ettiquite (sp?). But this forum is what it is--going to a tangent free system of posting would make the place dry and boring, because most posts woud go unread and unanswered. I don't know--I sometimes just don't want to wade through another flame about some guy's grammer to get to the Nerf. Just my opinion.
I went to a farmers market at one point that had a guy who was selling homemade soda--cream soda, ginger beer, birch beer and spruce beer. I got some of the spruce stuff, and it tasted like normal ginger ale (not beer) until it finished sliding down your throat, when just all of a sudden, it was like a christmas tree just exploded out of nowhere into your mouth. Such an amazingly strange aftertaste. It was good after you got used to it though.
