I have basically done this, except all I did was take the internals (plunger, barrel, and tank) and put them in the green barrel part of the 5k. I had gotten the 5k from a friend for free. It had no plunger and no attchments. Good thing CXWG (srry if i spelled ur name wrong) told me he took his 1.5k plunger part and put it in the 5ks. When I was trying to bend the metal rod thing into the trigger, it was taking way to long so I just put the tank at the end of the green barrel and put the brass tubing out throught the other end. The plunger is on the bottom. I will post pix As soon as possible.
