"The Heroin Diaries" is a book by Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue and how drugs totally messed him up from '86 to '87. I've read small excerpts from it, but is it really worth buying it? Like how was it, was it an amazing book? I want to know before I go spending like 35.00 on a book I'll never read.

I'm anxiously awaiting the hasbro over throw.

One Man Clan, or One Man Company?

Well you know I would but I don't belong to any libraries. I don't like them for some reason. But I was only asking for a general opinion.

How many people here do you think have read "The heroin diaries"
Seriously, out of all the books just released, what population of the NIC did you expect to have read this?
Why don't you search online for opinions. Some Book critics website or something?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I have to agree with FA24, as much as I love books, I would look for other sources rather than NH. I mean, there are whole forums on the internet dedicatated to a specific book. Spend enough time on the internet, and I'm sure you're bound to find something.

Just because you can't see me doesn't mean I'm not there.

Because critics opinions are biased. You can't trust any of them, also I have read reviews they said it was great. I was just wanting to know the opinion of people I trust. Even though I don't know a one of you in real life, I trust every one of you. So now that I think about it it was a stupid question and should have thought better.

If the critics are so biased, what makes you think we aren't either? Or do you just want to seem cool?

This contest may have some flaws, as people can simply be a deuschbag over the internet. By Lying.

A war-like setting/invitational would be better...

What gives you the right to seem like a dick? All I did was ask for a god damn opinion or something not be prosecuted for a simple fucking question. So you know what I asked a question, I got prosecuted for wanting an opinion, oh well. I fucked up, I know, so let this die. I'll buy it when I get the money.

prosecuted? No one has brought any legal action against you. By the same token that you're allowed to ask a retarded question about some crackhead's book, these guys are allowed to call you dumb for doing so.

Oh, and the book is awful.

Prosecuted doesn't have to mean that legal action was brought against you. It has multiple meanings ya' know. It also means to carry on, engage in or practice. Not one definition of prosecuted has a foothold in this topic, but an other. Again, I know I fucked up, so let it die or do other members like to just mess around with people lately.

Dude I hear you out. I've heard their cd and I fell in love with it (Life is beautiful is me and my girlfriend's song) but I was kind of questioning the book. You guys give him a break, he obviously doesn't like what the critics have to say so he thought he'd ask us down-to-earth people where he knew that they're honest and willing to give a little advice. Back on topic, I would buy it. I probaly will next chance I'm out, in fact I'm trying to find an online version right now (that's how I came across this topic.) Hope you make the decision that works best for you.

I didn't know it was Nikki Sixx's book. I thought it was Keith Richards. He did snort his dad.

Read something fucked up? Read Rant by Chuck Palahniuk. Yes, the same guy who wrote Fight Club and Choke, 2 other great books.

Yea dude, if you've seen or heard anything about Sixx A.M., or the book itself then you'd know. Sorry if that came off a bit rude.

Yea dudes guess what you necroed a topic. How does it feel to bring on the Zombie Apocalypse for all man kind. Read the dates before you post next time, or VACC will tear you apart then hand feed you to an army of zombies for fun. I read the book thought it was awesome. Something you tell kids about to scare them away from drugs.

How 'bout posting something a little more NERF oriented, Goober?

That, and it's generally not too hot to revive a sleeping topic unless it's something pretty significant to say. If a book review is the basis for your posts, I'd recommend Amazon.com, and leave comments there.

I'll put this one to sleep for good.
