So thanks to my fiasco with Greyhound, I'm now down to one gun and zero darts. I'm going to have to spent every night this week making darts and modifying some more nitefinders and I'll end up with pretty much the same compliment of weapons that I brought to the first DCNO I went to.

I won't need any loaners. I have 2 Nitefinders I can modify this week and supplies to make atleast 200 darts. I'll probably go buy and modify a Big Blast as well.

Anyways, t-minus 3 days till the war, and I thought I'd give everyone an update. Looks like we might have some moisture joining us on Saturday, last time I checked the weather. We're looking at cloudy skies, high 60's, and a 40% chance of precipitation (that's fancy weatherman lingo for "we might get some rain"). So, please keep that in mind and dress accordingly. I'm very hesitant to cancel / postpone the war, even with the threat of inclement weather, as it is less than a week away and we've already invested a great deal of effort trying to get us a solid new field. A little rain never stopped anyone from Nerfing at a DCNO and it certainly won't stop me. It looks like we do have some covered areas we can work with on the field so "worst case" scenario is our playable field will be smaller. You might want to bring a dry shirt or two to change into so you don't get soggy.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that's driving long distances, please allow yourself a little extra time to deal with the possibility of bad weather, and of course the crazy drivers.

This weekend is pretty much the only weekend me and Petard can do. See unlike some people I work on the weekends and took off in advance. Don't go all Evil Angel on me. Rain doen't affect the day too much.

1 more day. According to weatherbug.com, we now have a 70% chance of thunderstorm. Depending on how bad it is, I'll still most likely be coming.

A personal update- I'll be alone. of 3 friends that wanted to come, 1 lost interest in nerf overnight, 1 got himself grounded, and 1 decided to sit it out to develop a 'tactical nerf grenade with a pull pin system.'

+ The only working gun I own (maybe a Nitefinder as well if I can get it modified tonight)
+ A birthday present for Groove
+ Camera for taking pictures/video

I'm hoping I will be able to walk by tomorrow. I'm not so good at it today.

I'll be bringing a friend. The same dude who came to APOC w/ me. He will likely tape half the rounds with my camcorder and play the other half. Slug, you don't need to worry about video unless you want to , I have it covered.

The grenade guy is just an idiot. The one who lost interest I do not actually consider a friend. He's a leech who only picked it up to fit in. The third is actually a good guy, but his parents who grounded him got mad because he forgot his agenda book at school. Asses.
The rest of my actual friends' schedules just didn't work out.

Under ANY conditions will DCNO be canceled? My mom want to make sure the NIC has common sense. I told her yes, but she wants to see it posted by another.
