My Longshot, after many modifications. Sorry about the small pics, all I had was my camera phone.

Internals are standard for the most part, with the exception of the sidearm.

I added a laser pointer, and linked the triggers with a bent coat hanger.

Also, I reinforced the bolt sled with JB Weld, and added a washer for the plunger to keep it from breaking.

My stock now moves halfway for a more comfortable grip.

And one last touch for the front.

List of modifications.

Removed air restrictors.
Rubber bands for a better seal.
Reinforced bolt sled and plunger.
Extra spring added.
Half Lock Stock. (goes halfway)
Felt on the pullback to protect the paint.
Ammo storage off a Nitefinder for the sidearm.
Laser pointer added, switch tucked into sidearm grip gap.
Easier access to sidearm (only attached on one side). Makes changing the laser's battery easier.
Painted up.

My point is, I went crazy. When I saw what a black, awful joke the world was, I went crazy as a coot! I admit it! Why can't you?

"Rubber bands for a better seal."

How?

"Reinforced bolt sled"

How would it help?

I have a bolt sled that cracked in half where it bends 90 degrees. So reinforcement can help.

The rubber bands most likely go around the plunger head. However, I would recommend the switch to O-rings and E-tape, as it is more effective and easier to get correct.

The bolt sled bit should be obvious, but it is the part that must bear the pressure of the compression springs on the plunger while you are priming the weapon. The bolt sled is the long blue piece that the bolt handle is threaded through, so there is stress building up at the points at which it connects to the bolt and at the bolt handle ports. Reinforcing increases the bolt sled's ability to cope with this stress.

a_o_k: Quite the bit of work you have there. Very unique mod to the stock, I might add.

Nice first post. Nice paint job too. Now make it shoot stefans so the laser pointer can be put to some good use.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.
