Ok so my brother decided to try a new mod to his ls, now he wants to stick a grenade launcher of sorts under it.
So far we've come up with an old plunger tube from a broken ls, and the idea of using his malfucntioning magstrike for an airsuply. Right now im trying to figure out how to run the lines and such around so it goes from the magstrike pump through the air system and up to the launcher when the trigger is pulled. the expected projectile will be a cartridge filled with micros that opens up and showers opponents shortly after firing. Anybody got ideas on how to help? thanks in advance and sorry i dont have any diagrams to show, ill work on diagrams after school tommorow.

Glue an atom reactor to the bottom of the longshot, where the bipod is. As seen on eBay.

Wow I'm working on this mod for my gun. I took the barrel from a Reactor and the air supply from a LBB and am going to mount it on the underside of the longshot AND call it the M203 Style Grenade Launcher. Great.

I'm anxiously awaiting the hasbro over throw.

One Man Clan, or One Man Company?

Magstrike bladders create constant pressure, not one burst of pressure. A homemade tank, or a SM750. Mini Titan is also a possibility.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

Try a shotty'd micro'd Titan. Nerf grenades are not worth the bother, but seven barrels or so firing micro/nano stefans should do the trick.

I Was going to do this but with a buzzsaw instead. I then gave up the idea for a flashlight, foregrip and laser. But I would suggest putting a Titan on the bottom and shotgunning it.

Algebra notes are great arent they? since last night the ideas behind the design changed a little bit, now instead of using magstrike parts I'm looking at the insides of an old storm 850e watergun for a trigger mechinism and pump. As far as a pressure tank, im still looking around the house for things that will work size wise but i also have to worry bout what I can/cant get into with my dad in the hospital right now so it could take a while. Once I get further I'll do a whole write up, untill then any comments on my sketches/math notes would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

That sketch looks unecessarily bulky and complicatede. Why don't you just use an At2k?

Well as far as integrating an at2k. quite frankly, I find it hard to integrate a gun I dont own onto this. As far as bulky, hopefully I can shrink down the stuff that was just a rough concept sketch.

Yeah, the storm 850e isn't good as a nerf gun. I had one. Emphasis on had. But if you could reshell it, that would be a better idea.

I undestand that the 850e sucks, which is why I'm only using a few parts from the system, namely the trigger system to release the air, the pump, and some of the tubing for the air lines. as far as a tank for the pressure, I'll probably use a water bottle. its still a work in progress

If you've seen MYTHBUSTERS, they use whats called a sabot. Basically it is a bunch of airtight but easy to pull off material around the desired projectile(s) that doesn't fit in the tube. Specifically for darts, you could use wadding of some sorts, or styrofoam.

When you really think about it, this forum is still pretty darn tootin' good. It's like any family; we have a mix of brains, 'tards, jocks, geeks.

use a dixie cup with splits down the sides. It'll hold the darts together in the barrel and then release them as soon as it's out.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
