Now for the mod.
First of all, remove the turret and saw off the part of the front that holds it in place. Pull out of the barrel the peice of circular rubber that seals againt the turret. Now take a peice of CPVC about 1-1 1/2 inches long (I don't know exactly how long, but measure it so that it is so it is almost touching the plunger head with enough sticking out to fit in a coupler). Wrap one side in e-tape till it fits very snugly in the hole, Then wrap it a little more and hammer it in.
Next, cut a peice of 3/4'' PVC 2'' long and hammer it onto the outside of the hole. You may need to sand the outside of the hole to do this, but don't make it loose. Now hammer your CPVC coupler inside the 3/4 and make sure the CPVC goes into the back of it.
Now you can pull the plunger tube and plunger rod out to replace the spring. This best way to do this is to thread the
spring over the plunger head. The other way that might work is to grab the circular peice in the middle of the plunger head with a vice grips and unscrew it. I used the stock spring and a 3B spring. After that, look inside the plunger tube and make sure your CPVC went into the coupler. If not, fix it. You also might want to add some glue to keep it in place and some foam to cushion the plunger head.
The last thing you need to do is shave down the shell where the barrel comes out so that your new barrel will fit through (as seen in the second picture).
You're done!
I have not tested ranges due to being lazy, but It can shoot 60 feet to my fence with barely any dropping.
Edit: Pictures up. And, yes I did photoshop my yard out of them.
