My first fucking retarded "write-up". Read for laughs:

OK! This will be a micro ammo holder in 6 steps.
  • Take the camera out.
  • With a box-cutter or a exacto knife, cut out the top of the rectangular prism at the edges.
  • Remove excess cardboard.
  • Duct tape or masking tape (I used masking) the sides of the prism.
  • Attach a lanyard to the top of the back (the tallest side).
  • Stuff with micros.
So stupid easy, it works! Put 24 micros {I used stock} in the box (3 rows of 8).
It works pretty well until there are like 4 left then it gets a little harder.

What gun did you put this on? And maybe consider putting up more than 1 pic?

This isn't "A Ammo Cartridge." This is a dart holder. Cartridges are units that contain a bullet or projectile and its propulsive charge in a casing.

As for the idea, I suggest just taking duct tape and making a belt loop on the back of the box instead of using a lanyard, which would let the box swing around and get in the way when you don't need it.

Just to carry micros on your neck. No I can't put up another pic, my camera is quite trashed and I can't use the disposable camera either. It's full!

Unless you have a scanner and a photo development shop nearby, you couldn't use the disposable. However, if you take the flash out (the entire assembly), you can carry it with you and blind people you dislike.

Answers for Kid Flash:

1: Don't do it because there is a HIGH risk of you getting a life-threatening electric shock.

2: Why do you care? We aren't trying to built weapons here, we're trying to MODIFY NERF GUNS. If you want to make a tazer, go find a tennage weapon forum and post about it there.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm being mean, I'm only trying to be honest.

Shadowkid, just out of curiosity, are you sure that the electrical discharge from a disposable camera would pose a 'life-threatening' shock? I mean, the capacitor within a usual Kodak is about 330 volts. Sure it would leave a painful burn, but...life threatening?

EDIT: Nevermind, answered my own question.

My first time trying to defend myself. Read for laughs:

Okay, it's a ammo HOLDER. Whatever you call it, it holds 24 micros that are easier to load and usually* won't fall out. It works to hold darts that normally you would be without so you aren't shot while crouching to grab more darts. I think it would work for most, but I will ALWAYS use it because otherwise I would be shot while crouching, ducking, running for ammo and generally I'd play worse.

*Yes, darts COULD fall out while running.

I recently discovered that most lower body apparel came with ammo holders already installed.
I just use the pockets of my pants, cargo pants work pretty well.

also, I've been shocked by a fully charged disposable camera capacitor, and it was suprising, but barely even painful. To make the taser effective, you have to charge the capacitor for five minutes or so, wich requires bypassing some resistors and other built-in safety measures.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Which is what most of us tend to use. A picture of the holder posted about here would be nice, bu tif your camera is busted.......

Anyway, ok, mabye the shock isn't life threatening, or anywhere near it, but it's not a good idea nonetheless.

Okay, it's a ammo HOLDER.

No. It's a box with a string attached. Sure it could be used to hold ammo, but why not just use pockets. Assuming you have pants or shorts, you don't need to go out and by a disposable camera just for the purpose of holding nerf darts in the box it comes in.

I will ALWAYS use it because otherwise I would be shot while running for ammo and generally I'd play worse.

Well If you have "teh-uber-superz-ammo-box-on-a-string", why would you need to run for ammo?
</sarcasm>

Seriously, though, if you left the cover on, and attached it to a gun, this may have some use. Ammo holders on guns are useful when they work, and this seems better than my "glued on CPVC or brass scraps" technique. Plus, it doesn't constrict darts and screw with their fit in barrels. (Anybody who's left darts in a Maverick/Firefly can back me up.)

For those of you who "detest rummaging through your pockets," to borrow a phrase (or close to it) from SirTofu, take a 1-gallon Ziploc freezer bag with the zipper top instead of the snap-together strips, reinforce it with duct tape, and tape that to your pants. It holds more darts than this box or your pants' pockets (unless you are Paul Bunyan), and can be closed to ensure that darts won't fall out. It's also cheaper and more durable than this. Plus, it won't swing around.

I agree; "stupid" is right. I can't believe you even bothered to start this thread. Seriously, a (second rate) writeup for a box to carry darts in? If you choose to use this for yourself, fine - but I don't think anyone with an intact cerebral cortex really needs instructions on how to cut out some cardboard from a box. Most people use this forum with more discretion (i.e. blasters made from scratch).

Actually they are not that dangerous, you just have to be careful and throw them quickly. It also helps if you or your friend has a pool, you just throw em in there.

Bullshit they aren't. If they weren't dangerous you wouldn't have to be careful and throw them quickly, now, would you?

If you're not a retard they aren't. That would be like saying nerf guns aren't safe because you can shoot someone's eye out.

z80, I see what you mean, but in the wrong hands dry ice bombs are very dangerous. But then again, any experiment is dangerous. If you are REALLY stupid, it's possible to kill yourself boiling a pot of water. Now, add some high energy chemicals, or high pressure, and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster.

However, z80 is also right. When used in a safe manner, by properly trained personnel, any properly made chemical or procedure is safe.

My take on it: be careful and properly informed before trying any sort of experiment, or like telekenetic said, you can put yourself and the people around you in a lot of danger.

Now enough about this, let's all get back on topic.
